Drawing from the aesthetics of the American experience and the perception of alternate doctrines and faith systems in America, this exhibition brings into collision a breadth of seemingly contrary ideas and images, allowing expression inside the organic construction of new belief systems, adapting to new contexts and  the artist's formatting into new communal relations. In a series of thick paintings, Bradley approaches how these abstracts through reduction define and expand perception and experience. The defined and collaged experiences, rememberings and imaginaries invoke multiple articulations of American identity within adapting to new environments. Bradley’s educational and cultural capital resists conventional expectations for smooth assimilation yet demonstrates the potential for profound interconnectedness. Bradley’s works speculates both of the synthetic and organic as sites to examine bias and centric points of view.
